Upgrading Drupal

Hi.

When I upgrade 4.7 to 5.11, Image and Image Assist do not show images.

-Direct image file accessing is OK.
Like http://example.com/files/images/my_car.jpg
-Image node and Page or Story node with Image Assist inline tag do not show image.
-Local testing environment is everying OK

HTML is like following.
Only caption shows. "img" tag did not show ??

Is there any chance that we will see an auto update feature? Something that will go and make the necessary changes without any of the fuss?

Hey everyone.

I've upgraded to 6 from 5 and things just aren't going as smooth as I would like. I won't go into detail but its just a mess! (Its also running slow as hell).

What I would like to do is trash my site, start over and re-import all my content and images from my v5 site into the new lovely clean database and ftp all my images back up.

What's the best way to do this? I've already spent a day working on the upgrade (which I am about to roll back) so any simple tips would be great :)

Yesterday, I had attempted to do a regular update from 6.2 to 6.3. I backed up my site, extracted the 6.3 file contents onto my local; made duplicates of my sites folder and then removed all the old files/folders from the 6.2 version. After this was complete, I transferred the 6.3 files on to the site. However, when I went into the sites folder which I had backed up from 6.2, I noticed that neither the Default folder nor the All Folder were present! I scowered all over looking for my settings.php file and never found it. I came to the conclusion that something happened and during the transfer of the sites folder from the 6.2 to my local. So they were gone.

So I made a duplicate of the default.settings.php file and created a new one called settings.php and replaced the

$db_url = 'mysql://username:password@localhost/databasename';

IT still wouldn't update, nor dispaly anything but a white blank page with the url pointing to a update.php?info

After much frustration and fooling around with the settings.php file - I gave up. So I reverted back to 6.2 and STILL it won't work.

So i contacted my web host and asked them to revert my website back to a previous date; which they did; and now I get a HTTP 404 error. I cannot for the life of me, figure out what has happened.

I upgraded from 5.11 to 6.5. Everything is fine except blocks - I get the following message
Fatal error: Unsupported operand types in ../public_html/drupal/modules/block/block.admin.inc on line 39

Any ideas?

Everything else went smoothly, but I have a couple of problems with img_assist:

1. The img_assist tokens ([img_assist etc.]) that I was using no longer display images. In fact, they display nothing.
2. The img_assist popup gallery (for selecting images to include) doesn't display any images. It displays page numbers, so it's finding something, but it doesn't display images.

Any suggestions for how I can fix this?
