I just upgraded a site to 6.11 and it turns out that the new set-up reverts all custom menu settings back to the Primary Links menu like a default.
The site has a multi-lingual set-up with different custom PLink menus for each language.
Default language English, other languages include German. The configuration for the German customised menu is as follows:
If you are hosting at site5.com and upgrade from Drupal 6.10 to 6.11 you will need to disable the Update Status module because if you don't, you will get "MySql has gone away" errors for any Administer function.
I just upgraded my site from 6.10 to 6.11.
With 6.10 the page was not changed after login, it stayed the frontpage.
Now, after upgrading to 6.11, the "my account" page is loaded automatically after login.
But I want it like it was with 6.10. It should remain on the frontpage.
The following download is provided for those users who do not want to overwrite all of the files in their Drupal 6.10 installation. Using a file comparison utility, the following zip file contains only the date modified files for the latest release of Drupal 6.11.
Upload the new files to your Drupal site, then log into your site as the administrator and run update.php.
I am running a site under Drupal 5.16 and tried to do the recent Date module update recently. Everything seemed fine but when I tried to run update.php I got a 500 server error.
I cannot get update.php to run at all and I'm starting to get a bit concerned as the site had to go back on-line and is still evolving. I stand to lose some significant work if we have to recover to backups.
