In doing so I have lost the input format etc links from the pages- the words are there but not the links themselves.
However, if I highlight them, copy and paste to here all the 'missing' stuff turns up in the paste.
If I look in the code it is all there but the collapse will not expand again.
I have searched the forums, the advice thus far is that /misc/collapse.js could not be being called, mine appears to be (at least it features in the code).
I am about to move my website to a new machine.
I have just installed the operating system (DragonFly BSD - the old machine is running Linux), and apache is working.
The old machine is running Drupal 5.xx. I want to take the opportunity to upgrade to 6.10.
I reckon on installing 6.10, and modules that I require, and then somehow migrating across the old set-up. I guess this is not a standard upgrade.
I have some custom modules from 5.1 version and want to have them on 6.10, when I try to install them on it, it says that they are not compatible with this version. How can I make them compatible? What are the differences between 5.1 and 6.10 modules that prevent me from installing that modules.
Thanks for answers.
I copied the new drupal update folder to my modules folder (not sure why, probably cause I was notified of available updates in my modules section) so now I have a sub folder of Drupal 6.10 in my modules folder. The drupal folder also has a lot of modules within it. It's like I copied a new update of drupal within my modules sub-directory.
After realizing this, I went back and deleted the drupal folder with intentions to copy its content in my root folder. My site crashed and wouldn't allow me to do anything so I copied it back.
