Upgrading Drupal

I cannot see how to edit the graphical editors such as TinyMCE so I can see all the usual buttons. Can someone help me. I have deinstalled tinymce and used the wysiwyg interface but can't get the editor to appear when I am editing content. This site is an upgrade from 4.x to 5.x. I also have an xampp version with tinymce but when I edit content, I cannot see the tinymce interface. What am I doing wrong? Is there some field that must be set?

I use drupal 5.x for one of my sites. I wanna upgrade to drupal 6.x (or higher), but it seems that key modules that i use are still not available for version 6.x (Now that we have drupal 7.x). Any way out ?

Hi, i couldnt find any threat solving my problem yet and Sorry for my bad english.
On one of my Drupal 6 installations it seems drupal is confused with the user permissions of user 1. I dont know exactly since when this is the case but i think since the last or the update before the last (6.10 to 6.11 or 6.11to 6.12) There is no way to edit content types or some modules as user 1. I have full access to the site but cant edit almsot all Modules or content types. This is quiet strange !! Does anybody know what can i do now?

I am using the Image module, and Image Gallery module, and have several images. After upgrading from 6.11 to 6.12 I could no longer select an Image Gallery when importing images using File Import or editing an existing image.

I have upgraded several time before successfully, so I'm not sure where everything went wrong.

Right now if I try to access any page in my installation I get an error 500 page that says "Server Error! The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there was an error in a CGI script."

I started getting that page after the initial update. I thought it was a problem with the settings files and so made the change to $update_free_access = TRUE; . But to no avail.

Upgrading from 6.10 -> 6.12.

Did everything right *except* change the theme from Zen to garland.
Changed access permission in settings.php,
Update.php works(didn't change theme for that) but can't get to any themed page (admin!!!!)
just completely blank pages with no obvious errors.
Can I change theme some other way or revert to a standard form like garland by editing a file or some such?
