I've been running 6.6 for quite some time and figured it was time to upgrade, the upgrade itself went relatively smoothly and I now have 6.12. However my website which is a bi-lingual german/arabic website is now having problems with RTL alignment, making all arabic text & menus appear in LTR or a mixed alignment. Suffice to say there are plenty of artifacts that didn't exist before the upgrade to 6.12. This has affected most of the Contributed Themes I've tried including the default Zen. Infact in IE7 when Zen is selected all LTR menus (german/english) are unclickable and instead of the hand icon when I mouse over I get the Text marker icon instead, this happens when the default language is arabic (which it was pre-update too). Opera 9.62 doesn't seem to have that problem however and I'm able to browse both german & arabic menus fine when the default language is arabic.
Okay, so I upgraded recently from 6.10 to 6.12 as well as upgraded (or so I thought!) a few modules as well.
The thing is that after upgrading and doing the usual steps (I have been upgrading since 6.4 with no problems) update.php etc. I was confronted with the yellow caution symbols in [/admin/reports/updates/list] where there were red x's before and it seems I have not upgraded my contribs at all?!
Drupal itself was updated but not the contribs.
What's up with that?
Should I have upgraded to 6.11 from 6.10 and then to 6.12?
I am looking for a clean core module list for 4.7. I need to upgrade a site that I did not build so I need to know what to disable and to re-install during the upgrade process. Can anybody help me?
I have a problem when I try to edit a publish content on the website I am currently creating.
Thus, every time I click on the “submit” button in the “edit” page, it gives me a white page, the URL pointing to the same edit page.
So, I have to refresh the page every time I submit a publish content.
I don’t have this problem when I edit modules or contents parameters for instance.
I would like to understand the cause, this problem appeared all of a sudden (a little after the installation of the CCK date field…I don’t know if there is a link)
I've successfully upgraded a Drupal 5.18 site to Drupal 6.12. However now if I go into edit any of the content, or add any new content, my anonymous users cannot view that posted content. It's very strange. They can view all the content that was upgraded. But if I post brand new content using any of the content types (including default PAGE type) they get an access denied when trying to view it.
If I edit a previously posted content, they also get an access denied. I've checked permissions and they have "access content" enabled.
