This forum is for questions about upgrading an existing Drupal site. Don't forget to read the UPGRADE.txt file that comes with every Drupal download.

warning: parse_url(http://) [function.parse-url]: Unable to parse URL in /sites/all/modules/views/

I went through a bunch of upgrades yesterday. bringing all my core and modules up to date. Followed the upgrade texts. Now. My views give me this error. It does seem to give me this error only when trying to get arguments from the url. Has anyone got this error before or know what I can do to fix this.

I was going through upgrades to try and see if the content lists will finally have a sortable table. Customer is really frustrated trying to get updates through hundreds of content when they are not sorted.

some one please give me a clue!!

Multilingual block tab not available post upgrade of multilingual site drupal 5.x->6.13

I have upgraded one of our site which is multilingual in Drupal 5 and had no issues for long. In order to keep it up to date and for future, I tried to upgrade. Now Add Multilingual block option is missing

Book/child page has vanished from the menu tree, but node content is there.

This isn't really an "upgrade" question (but I wasn't sure where to post it).
I had renamed the "Books" entry in the navigation menu on my original site to "Archive".
I backed up my mysql database using phpmyadmin before shutting down the original server.
I then moved my site to a new server and imported my content .
When I restored the database, all the information came back, except the Archive page is now blank.
(This is the main book page). None of the "Sub-Books" are there, nor any links to the child pages.

Want to upgrade, need to convert nodes

I have a site running Drupal 5.x and would like to upgrade it to 6.x. Problem: most of the nodes are Reviews using the Review Module http://drupal.org/project/review and in retrospect, I should've obviously just used CCK with a standard node. I'm not a coder and know little about php/MySQL. Is there a relatively simple/cheap way to take the title, taxonomy, body, and authoring info and clone the node into something more standard? I don't care about saving the review rating #.

Proper module updating procedure?

This is perhaps a stupid question, but what is the proper procedure for updating modules if you have multiple modules requiring updates as the same time?

Can you install all the updates at once then run update.php once?

Or do you need to run update.php for each module one by one?

I suspect the best procedure is to do one by one.

But thing is that I operate quite a few sites and it can be quite time consuming to manage all the updating that needs to be done to keep site modules current, so looking for shortcuts and simplications that don't create problems.

Upgrade from 5.x to 6.x, and Image Module issues.

Hi everyone.

I am planning to upgrade existing 5.x Drupal installation to 6.x version. Image Module developers are saying, that upgrading to newest version of that module for 5.x is essential, before going forward towards 6.x. I've tried this on test server and I failed. Some images are showing up, some not.

Can anyone help with that? Is there any quick road to 6.x upgrade without messing up images? I read many posts in forum on that topic, but I'm still a bit confused...

Thanks in advance.
