I've updated drupal and changed to a new theme recently. Afterward, my Content Management option is missing. I looked everywhere to hope to bring it back but failed. Can anyone help me with this?
Another question...is it possible to give certain user permission on certain page only? How do I go about this?
I updated my Drupal site from 6.13 to 6.14, and having finished the process 2 menus created by taxonomy menu module disappeared. They are enabled on the block administration page, so they might be empty. On the taxonomy administration page in the Menu Path Type dropdown menu only default is available. I guess it is a path problem, but I am not a php expert, and have no idea what to change. These menus were visible before the update. I would highly appreciate any help. Thank you.
Just a general comment after having used drupal for over 3 years on a heavy views/cck site that uses about 80+ contributed modules. Drupal is the best that's out there. But. I'm running 5.19. It still has bugs I can't shake. Despite all my best part-time, middle-of-the-road efforts (still hundreds of hours spent overall in development/deployment), subscription module emails still have html tags. I think it must be related to retained variables from subscriptions 1. (Yes, I've done everything and read everything.) I can't upgrade imagecache to 5.x-2.5 from 2.4 because it breaks even with the current dev and patches. Certain modules can't be run with other modules--and they aren't all documented. I still have two crucial issues pending and unaddressed.
So I tried to upgrade to 6.x. Not happening. So many of my needed modules are still in development and views will take forever to convert even with the new convert tool.
The following download is provided for those users who do not want to overwrite all of the files in their Drupal 6.13 installation. Using a file comparison utility, the following zip file contains only the date modified files for the latest release of Drupal 6.14.
Upload the new files to your Drupal site, then log into your site as the administrator and run update.php. A link to the update.php file can be found on the Administer » Site building » Modules page.
I just went through updating drupal 6.13 to 6.14, everything seemed to work fine - no errors notified, but at the end of the process I still have 6.13 running and wanting to update to 6.14.
