I have just updated from drupal 5 to 6 and the only thing I am missing is the books, which have dissappeared (Although content type book exists). All the nodes that used to belong to a book (I think the correct work is "were outlined") exist but they are not related to a book anymore. In addition, when I create a new book to add some nodes outlined to it, the book doesn't show up in the list.
I have a problem upgrading to Drupal 6.16 from 6.15.
Running update.php, and on the "select versions" page there is no 6054 and 6055 system module upgrade version. The latest selectable system module update version is 6053. Also, there is no any update to other updated modules.
Is there any idea why my system not displays upgrade versions?
(I'm in maintenance mode, deleted old core directories and copied new ones, cache cleared)
For PHP memory limit, while 16MB is the minimum for Drupal 6 and 32MB is recommended, it seems that those numbers are probably going to be double for Drupal 7.
So, if a site is on a shared server, being ready for the about 64MB recommended for D7 is something to consider when choosing the date to upgrade from D6. Depending on the site, maybe a VPS or dedicated server would be advisable.
I have Drupal 6.15 installed on several different sites, at different hosts, all on Apache servers. They all are about to get upgraded to Drupal 6.16 per the recent Security Update.
None of these are multi-site installations. Each stands alone. Some have shopping carts, some do not.
I am curious as to why some of my web hosts prefer Drupal in the /www folder, and some prefer it in the public_html folder.
What are the uses and benefits of preferring one of these server folders over another? What could drive a preference for one or the other?
Hi, I was going to hide the "Navigation" block from anonymous users, so pressed the checkbox where that said something similiar to this:
"Show this for only authicated users"... mayne it said "Hide this for only authicated users", DAMN!
Anyway, my navigation is gone so what on earth am I going to do?
