I download 6.17 updates I extract it and upload to its proper locations.
After I refresh my website. All pages become blank page. In internet explorer "Internal server error 500"
The "local permission problem" encountered while using Dreamweaver for FTP is addressed in part by various posts, and I'm compiling those bits into this one post and asking if anyone else has had success in configuring Dreamweaver to avoid this error.
I'm using Dreamweaver CS4 on Windows 7. I'm new to both Drupal and Dreamweaver. I encountered the problem while attempting an upgrade from Drupal 6.16 to 6.17, first trying Dreamweaver for FTP. In Dreamweaver, all of the new files transferred successfully except for an includes file which displayed the following message:
index.htm\includes\. - error occurred - Access denied. The file may not exist locally, may be open in another program, or there could be a local permission problem.
All the includes files existed locally, and none were open. I never discovered what a "local permission problem" is or how to solve it. Though the particular includes file that was denied is not shown in the error message, I discovered that the missing file is one that affects logged-in status. Though I had logged in as admin prior to the upgrade, update.php was rendering an "access denied" message.
Hey guys - I need a quick answer - I am updatng an older installation from 4.4 to 6.17. Last night, while running update.php. the server crashed (a space problem) in the middle of running update.php. Should I re-start the update.php file? I do get some errors in the logs - but the warning about running update twice as me hesitant to run it twice......what do you think? The currrent version is now 4.7.11.
The error I am seeing is "in_array(): Wrong datatype for second argument" in forum.module
I wanted to clean up my site and upgrade to a new 6.X version of Drupal and also upgrade some modules.
I started bij dissabling some modules i no longer use and then i uninstalled them. Since then i get errors like the ones below.
In the meantime I have disabled all modules, revoked all user rights and upgrade the core and the modules. So far so good.
Every time I enable the content module (CCK) I get the error messages again like the ones below. I have run update.php several times and i have deleted the content that used the modules that were uninstalled.
Hi guys - anyone have any "look out for........" tips for a new client job that I have. Their DRUPAL installation is more than six years old. My first job is to bring them up to date, so I am upgrading them from 4.4 to the current 6.17 tomorrow. Now I am reading and looking for "trouble".......and part of this process is to ask questions.
I'm running the current 6.17 and have performed all of the updates required for my site. All seems o.k. except the recent security update cck 2.6 to 2.7. Even though I've performed maybe a dozen different attempts using every scenario that I can think of, I can't clear the error message:
