Upgrading Drupal

I am running a drupal 6 site on hostmonster. The site has 50 audios supported by audio module. There will be 5 audio files added each week.
My plan is to upgrade to drupal 7 when the hostmonster is ready.
Audio module will not be involved in drupal 7.

What should I do now to prepare for the upgrade?

I'm in the process of upgrading drupal from 5 to 6 and when I do I get duplicate menu items for "Administrator & Log-out". Can anyone help me with this? Thanks

in fact migrating from drupal 5 to drupal 6 then to drupal 7
is almost crap not worthy at all
because for me it caused loosing most of fields (custom fields) & image and file fields data & structure
and it only kept the field of title and body
so is there a way to get the full of fields in drupal 5
or i have to recreate these fields and re enter the whole data again !!!

I've recently upgraded to 6.19 and have had no problems until recently
I installed and activated Profile_taxonomy module and now if I have the Update.module active i get a WSOD.

It also appears that the db collation changed some of the tables to Swedish, and yes i did install drupal with fantastico but that was 3 years ago!

I have fixed the collation issue, but not the update.module
any thoughts?

On a test copy of our site, I recently tried to upgrade from D6 to D7. After working out issues with our server host (had to get PDO installed), update.php worked with no errors. However, when trying to access any of the administration pages, every one shows the title of the page and then says "Array". That's it. I can't switch out of maintenance mode, and I cannot access any of the settings. If more information is needed, please ask. Any ideas?
