Upgrading Drupal

Hey guys
I've upgraded my drupal 6.14 site to 7.2 (to 7.0 befor 7.2). Now I have the problem that I can't see any file attachment on any node.
I use different Content types but every time the Field "File attachments" (Label "Above" and Format "Table of files") is displayed. Does anyone have a sugestion how to fix this?

I turn offline site and then upgraded Drupal core to latest. Then I upgrade database using Drupal update script which ran 119 sql commands. Now my admin shows only ...

"Operating in maintenance mode. Go online."

When I click the link to go online, nothing happens. I am unable to bring site back online.

Can I tweak the database values to make set it to online state. But which table?

I have changed my theme to garland, updated drupal from 6.22 to 7.4. After the update i get the the following message Notice: Undefined variable: site_name_and_slogan . Even thought the garland theme it self came from version 7.4.

I've just been going through and updating a few sites from 7.2 to 7.4. (And I am a relative drupal newbie:)

All has worked well, except on one site (which is a sub-domain test site), where I have 'lost' the ability to edit my Views.

Interestingly, I can see my Views, if i go to Structure/Blocks.

They no longer appear if I go to Stucture. My Views, or 'add Views', do not appear as a selection.

Similarly, I can still 'Configure block', but the 'Edit View' drop down option no longer diplays.

How many intermediate upgrades do I need to do to get my site which is currently running 6.20 to upgrade to 7.4? Is there anything I should be aware of in terms of keeping my current database intact?
