Home page is not replaced with maintenance page while in maintenance mode

Hi!

This seems a bit strange. Whenever I put the site into maintenance mode, the homepage still displays but every other page displays the maintenance page.

I do have page.tpl and maintenance-page.tpl in my theme.

How do I get the homepage to be replaced by the maintenance page while in maintenance mode? Does anyone know?

update Drupal 6.20 to 6.22 files only

Hi,
can anyone asssist me with the best way to update from 6.20 to 6.22. My site is live and I am concerned that if I update, it may break the site. Is there a way to update - just the files only?

After upgrade to 7.4, updating modules gives error "Interface 'ArchiverInterface' not found in system.archiver.inc on line 11"

An AJAX HTTP error occurred. HTTP Result Code: 200 Debugging information follows. Path: /batch?id=361&op=do StatusText: OK ResponseText: Fatal error: Interface 'ArchiverInterface' not found in /modules/system/system.archiver.inc on line 11

Thanks in advance for any suggestions on fixes.

Upgrade 7.2 to 7.4 module Block (missing)

Hi everybody,

I tried to upgrade my Drupal 7.2 to 7.4 via FTP. Everything worked fine until I tried to update the database (as proposed by Drupal).

The update process denies to start because the Dashboard module is dependent on the Block module which is missing.

The Block module is on the FTP server in the correct path but no visible in the drupal module list.

What went wrong?

Thank you for your help!
