Upgrading Drupal

Hello, I would like to know How to Download and Install all the Updates on my Website. We run our own Server and I deal with an outside vendor on keeping my site up to date, Backup of the server and other problems we have. We seen we have an option to download the updates but we do not know how to do it. We would like to save the money if we do not need the outside service to do this. Can anyone help us and explain what we need to do. We would Appreciate it Greatly. Thank You!

Generally, to update a module you should disable it first.
But when the module is required by defined field types it cannot be disabled.
So how to update such a module?

Hello - I am new to Drupal. We currently have Drupal v6.10 + Mysql running in production. I have been tasked to upgrade to v7.26 running on MS SQL Server 2012 R2 and IIS 7.

Can someone please guide me on steps to upgrade Drupal to v7.26 database SQL 2012 R2 and App server IIS 7? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hello! I just installed the security upgrade from 6.28 to 6.30. Unfortunately, something went wrong with my modules folder, causing a WSOD (ANYTHING on the site is just a blank page). This happened after trying to replace the old module versions with the new ones. I probably did something wrong there (a mistake in moving the folders or something). I then tried to fix the problem by bringing back the old modules folder from a tar archive. Unfortunately, that doesn't help at all, everything is still blank.

I can't understand what's the problem here and how can I fix this.
