Upgrading Drupal

I recently updated my development site, including core (to 7.26) and a host of contributed modules.

Dear All,

I installed the distribution for corporate Clean from github and after all updates, that seem to go ok, I have the following error when trying to add a page:

Upgrading from 6.26-6.30 leaves all pages but main 404.

My website no longer works after performing the recommended security updates. I have since restored from backup and the site is working again.

How should I go about upgrading my site without it going down?

I am working on a site setup by someone else initially. It's a mulitsite install and I need to update Drupal core. I'm not that familiar with Open Enterprise and I want to be certain I update core correctly. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I've updated from Drupal 7.2 to 7.26. I'm nebwie with Drupal.
When I use the search controls I get error:

Illegal option 188 in element 'provincia'

Any help, please?
