Drush Migrate

Hi
After attempted to migrate with Drupal8 "Migrate UI" (a question "Uprade from Drupal 6 to Drupal 8" is on /support/upgrading Drupal for 8 days), I tried with drush !
I am just starting with drush !!
I am using Wamp64.
I have in wamp64/www different versions of my new site "drupal81801", "drupal81802", ans I am working on "drupal81803"
Drush seems to work as with D:\wamp64\www\drupal81803>drush -v I got
Loading output format engine.

Update 7.23 to 7.5

Can I upgrade directly to 7.5 or are their other steps in other releases I need to take before I move to 7.5. I will be upgrading all modules to insure that I am up-to-date there but is the core path clear from 7.23 to 7.50?

Will upgrade to php 5.6 break anything in Drupal 7?

Running Drupal 7 on Centos system with PHP 5.4.16 (cli) (built: Jun 23 2015 21:17:27)

Want to install Drupal 8 on same system, but it requires PHP 5.5.9 or higher.

Question: Are there any known compatibility issues we might run into with Drupal 7 core (or modules) with respect to php upgrade?

Thanks!

Array MAINTENANCE MODE

I followed the instructions to upgrade from 6.x to 7.50 here: https://www.drupal.org/docs/7/upgrade-to-drupal-7/upgrade-process

I couldn't figure out how to use Drush, so I fixed some errors by deleting modules directly from the database.

I managed to get through update.php. Now, when I go to my site, it says that the site is in maintenance mode, and gives me a link to bring it online. I have no other options. When I click the link, it says:

Array

MAINTENANCE MODE

But settings.php IS writeable! Upgrading 6 to 7

I'm trying to upgrade from Drupal 6.x to 7.5. I'm using the instructions here: https://www.drupal.org/docs/7/upgrade-to-drupal-7/upgrade-process

Notice that settings.php IS writeable by ALL users:
