Hi guys, I am new to Drupal and just looking for some tips getting my dev environment going.
So I have a working container with drupal, mariadb, drush etc... so after installing Drupal with the installer, I install themes and such. How do I keep that work? It seems if I drop the container I lose all my work. How could I ever work in a team then? Do I use git inside the container and pull and push from within?
Since upgrading to Drupal Core 7.60, I've lost the Rich Text Editor in CKEditor. When I check the CKEditor profile, Full HTML, editor appearance, the 'show the disable/enable rich text editor toggle' is selected. Also, in Configuration, Content Authoring, Text Formats, Full HTML roles are Authenticated User, Administrator. I am an admin.
After updating to Drupal 7.60, all my slideshows stopped working. Looking at the suggestions at https://www.drupal.org/project/views_slideshow/issues/2269963, I checked to see that I had the sites/all/libraries/jquery.cycle/jquery.cycle.all.js structure and file. I do. If this is not the issue, then what?
Is it safe to upgrade from Drupal 7.38 to 8.6.11? My website (www.lohesurf.eu) has some customized modules installed and it makes me worried, if they still work after upgrade or not.
I am using Acquia Dev Desktop (latest version). After having a breakdown by not able to update Drupal core yesterday, I have decided (for the second time in a month) to ditch everything and start my site from scratch (...imagine the frustration at this point...).
So I have used Acquia Dev Desktop to install a new local instance of Drupal 8.6.10. I know 8.6.11 is out, but ADD installs 8.6.10 (after all 8.6.11 is just 1 day old). Anyhow, after doing a fresh new install, there is an error in the Status Report:
