D6 upgrade: unable to download D6 plugin

To upgrade my Drupal 6 site, I need to install the "Views data export" plugin. The version I need is "views_data_export 6.x-2.0-beta7", which does not appear to be available for download.

composer update wipes drupal paths?

Hello,

I have the following when I run:

Recommended path for upgrading from 8.6.16 to 8.8.5

I know, I know -- I'm NOT using composer and I haven't yet figured out how to get standalone drush to work on Drupal 8. It used to be so easy.

Having been delinquent in upgrading, I'd like to know if there are htaccess changes anywhere between 8.6.16 to 8.8.5 and if there are intermediate upgrades I should do (i.e. upgrade in steps), or if it should be possible to go straight from 8.6 to 8.8.

Show me the SQL queries 'drush updatedb'?

Hello,

Is it possible to have the update queries just printed out so i can run them manually one by one?

I keep running into problems running'drush updatedb' seem like it would be so much simpler if i could just see the SQL queries so i could debug them. :)

Thanks.

Trying to issue drush entity-update

I am trying to utilize entity update through drush 10.2... Now, the common is there, the docs for the command isn't there... But you can't really use the command... Ok, fine... How do you fix the problem with the tool that is given to us is there to use... but not really...

I do realize the command was taken out in version 8.7. There must be a way to fix this with out hacks all these modules to work.

[various solutions] Composer require returns out of memory error but update works

Strange that require and update just started posing difficulty. After hours of attempt update now works but requires returns out of memory or allocated memory. I have set the memoy_limit to -1 and have updated composer to the 1.10.1, D8 core to 8.8.5 using the core-recommend template as well as 2 out of date modules. But I'm unable to download new modules (some don't permit using tar).

My local development is on WAMP (PHP 7.3.7) windows 10, intel i7, 16Gb RAM.

Any idea?
