I had automated the arduous task of keeping my Drupal servers up to date, but I noticed today that the module tar file naming convention has changed from 4.7.0.tar.gz to 4.7.x-1.(random).tar.gz.
Does anyone know if the 4.7.0.tar.gz files are being kept up to date? Many of the 4.7.0.tar.gz modules seem to have been updated even into the month of November, so I am hopeful that this is the case.
If the files with the original naming convention are being maintained, what are the 4.7.x-1... files?
I'm going to move several Drupal 4.7.3 installations from my current shared host account, running Apache 1.0.33 (I think), PHP 4.4.1, and MySQL 4.0.27, to a VPS with a new hosting company. The new server is currently running Apache 2.0, PHP 4.4.2, and MySQL 5.0.22. I'm considering upgrading the PHP to Release 5.someting, too.
I have drupal for my charitys website but now with ie7 my site is in a right state. see www.bpdworld.org. i need someone to update my drupal to the newest version. Can any one help? My email is josh@bpdworld.org
i am new to Drupal and the first version i have used is 5.0. It is a great bit of software, BUT there are a lot of modules that i want to use but they are not ready for 5.0 yet. Like Front page, Taxonomy modules, theme makers, ect... Is it worth the wait or should/can i go back a version?
I've updated PHP to 5.2.0 and Drupal to 4.7.4. After that I can log in, but the next page logs me out again. A downgrade to PHP 5.1.6 solve the problem.
Does anyone had the same problems? Is this a problem of PHP or Drupal?
