Upgrade via replacing the core module?

Hi All,

I wanted to take an advice. Would it be ok if I just replaced my 5.1 core modules with the 5.2 and ran the update.php??

Thanks!

Going from 6.x-dev to 6.0-beta?

Is it possible to upgrade from the pre beta version to the beta version?

Also, is it possible to 'downgrade' to 5.2?

Thanks

userprofile using cck + node profile + usernode , error when submitting userprofile first time only

after upgrading a couple of modules

i get this error when submitting a userprofile (custom content using cck and using node profile) for the first time)

however when resubmitting i do not get this error

So you've already installed with Fantastic. . .

and then you find out that this is really bad. Is there anything you can do besides erasing everything and starting over? Can I create the update.php file that I understand to be missing so that I can do manual updates in the future?

I am glad Fantastico includes Drupal b/c I never would have found out about it otherwise, and I love DRUPAL! But, they should give more info aboutthis with their install.

So, can I do anything to fix it? (Site works great--I am only worried about upgrading later.)

Drupal installation directory?

I can't find the 'Drupal installation directory' anywhere. I want to upgrade from 5.1 to 5.2 but I can't find the location of this directory. Can someone please advise where it may be found?

Thanks!
