CPanel Upgrade by my host cause a major problem

So the host I am with decided to throw out his old CPanel and implement a new one. In doing so, my site got moved from where it originally was on the server hard drive. I now only get a blank page. I have tried to run the update.php script and "" is all that appears on the screen. All my tables in the database are still there and working just fine, my logon to them hasn't changed. I then tried reinstalling drupal, but still nothing. The only thing I can think of that would explain this is that there is something in one of the tables that says Drupal is located at c:\....\...

Upgrade Test site

I am planning to upgrade our live 4.7 site to 5.2 eventually.

I plan to install a fresh 5.2 and then use my 4.7 files and database in 5.2

I have setup a test 5.2 site using Xampp in Windows XP and installed the same (5.2 version) contrib modules I have on 4.7 .

I dropped the 5.2 tables and imported my 4.7 database (using bigdump) I copied the files folder into my new install. I ran update.php. The site loads and looks like my live site.

However any link I click takes me to the XAMPP screen. Some links take me to my live site.

No template after upgrade

went to upgrade and then the whole site went blank
with black text
the template is gone

and now we cannot access the log in function to see the admin panel or anything of the sort... any suggestions?

Upgrade drupal in public_html

I plan to upgrade from 4.7.0 to 4.7.7 and eventually to 5.2.

I do not have Drupal in a sub-directory. I have it directly under public_html directory. If I copy paste I will lose all contrib modules and themes. Can I copy paste the core drupal modules and leave the contrib modules. I plan to use the original .htaccess file, sites directory and files directory. Do i just copy paste the other Drupal directories and files

Thanks

pre upgrad question

Hi,

I'm new to drupal and wondering a bit about the upgrade process from 5.1 to 5.2.
This looks to me like a whole reinstallation...
As the 5.1 version is working for me perfectly I'm thinking about just fixing the security holes.
It would be nice if someone can write a sentence about the patching. Is there something I should think about? Were do I execute the patch command ?

Thanks for your help!

Upgrade to 5.2 - multisite problem

Hi all,

I just upgraded from 5.0 to 5.2 and have problem with my subdomains.

I have main page and two subdomains on one Drupal installation (multisite). After upgrading from 5.0 to 5.2 my subdomains are not working. In fact when visiting subdomains I get my default page. It seams that Drupal is reading only settings.php in default folder.

I have one database and subdomains tables have prefix. With Drupal 5.0 everything was working as it should.

Any suggestion is appreciated.
