The majority of visitors will be anonymous so I'll not have any mechanism to set by user.

What I'm trying to achieve is a toggle between output formats. The documents being displayed have quite a lot of academic abbreviations and we need to have the site a little more accessible to a general reader. I'm looking at a filter to control how these are displayed depending on the preference of the reader and have the option to display these as the abbreviation, the full phrase or using the HTML abbr tag (quite a simple on-the-fly unpack of the abbr tag).

Hi there, I am working on a large 10.000 node migration. I first used "drush migrate-upgrade --configure-only" to craete configuration entities which I exported into yml files.    I have identified all the migrations needed.  I run the drush migrate:import myname_filter_format and     migrate:import myname_filter_user_role    ok

migrate:import myname_user   errors due to flatten.php  but ok I could manually set up the handful of users

then migrate:import myname_field     ok 38 of 40 ok and 3 ignored

The status report for my site shows a red X next to the 'Database Updates' item, and shows the message 'out of date'. It also says "Some modules have database schema updates to install. You should run the database update script immediately."

When I click on the link to run the database update script, it shows error:
"An AJAX HTTP error occurred.
HTTP Result Code: 200"

How can I understand why this error is appearing, and how to get rid of it?

Hi everyone,

The other day I was looking into the Roku Direct Publisher App (which can use a json feed to provide a data to the app) and was starting thinking that it would be interesting to use Drupal 8 to manage the feed with a custom content type for video, then using a view to display it in json.

Just wondering if anyone has done something like this before and if so did you use the REST module that is built into core? Or is there any other recommended module for customizing the json output?

I have a problem,

I have a view with some relationships,

I have two roles which are System Admin, and Local Market Admin,

the system admin always shows all results coming from view's page.

while the Local Market Admin shows fewer results coming from the same page.

I checked the view query and it seems to be correct,

then I checked all the permissions also everything is ok.
