How can I hide a block after the user clicked to collapse it? In fact the block should be only once visible at the beginning and hidden after clicking on the title.
I was thinking about converting from a Joomla 3.9 component to a Drupal 8 module. Maybe a custom template too. Of course Joomla does not have 'content types' but uses database tables directly.
So, a question that popped up is: when should I use 'content types' and when should one use the database within Drupal 8 more directly? Is it considered 'working against Drupal' if one uses database tables instead of content types?
What advantages and disadvantages are there to both methods?
I wrote a new back-end to process my queues (to delay items upon retrying). It works when I manually trigger the queue processing, but when the cron runs the corresponding QueueWorker it does not use my back-end but the default one.
I know how to manage and set up a Drupal site, but I'm still a beginner. I'm less sure how to make a template of my own. I have a specific homepage design that I haven't seen in template yet. I'd like to talk to someone about what my best/quickest option is - for example, can I use a theme and just hard code my homepage? The homepage design is fairly simple, think a grid that resembles a monopoly board with specific blocks showing different content types and a large space in the center.
