Hi, I'm trying to find out a solution to create a website with membership and subscriptions.

I'm developing it with Drupal 8.

I would like to have the possibility to pay at the registration page and proceed directly to checkout without the cart option. I saw there are a few options like ubercart, commerce and so on but neither one is fitting good for me.

Also, I didn't find a tutorial or a good documentation to explain the things quite properly and I have to say that I am new to Drupal.

As stated in the title, I'm new to Composer, Drush, and command lines in general.

I have a content type.

I like to add a private field which should be visible to a role only.

A public user can create a node. At the time of creation, a public user should not see the private field. 

How can I add a field to a content type for a role only to manage? I could not find anything specific from google search.

I am getting the following error messages from the data migration.

probably over 50 of these type:

Source ID 1924: No parent link found for plid '1917' in menu 'main'

a few of these:

Source ID 330: The path "internal:/departments/public-relations/press-release" failed validation.

Any idea how to resolve these?
