Porting Hidden profile field from Drupal 6 to 8

I'm trying to port a D6 site to D8. It uses hidden profile fields to store information about what each user can do. I did the migration using the standard flow using the UI.

The table seems to have made it across in the migration as there is a table called user__profile_my_name in the database with all the values in. But this information is not visible in D8. I tried creating a field in D8 to serve the same purpose, but that created its own table called profile__field_profile_my_name, so that will not work.

Ice Magic Theme- Footer Menu not clickable

I have come across a very odd issue. When on the landing page of my website the footer menu does not work. It shows that it is there yet the menu links are not clickable.

However, when viewing the website on a mobile device OR when going to another page on my website on the desktop the menu DOES work. The only time it does not work is when you are on the landing page. Does anyone have any idea of what I can do to get the footer menu to work on the landing page?

I am using the ICE MAGIC theme for Drupal 8. Any and all help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Nick

Error after adding .theme file

After creating .theme file in my template folder (whether empty or not), I get the following error message:

Hide vertical tabs or drop below form on Seven theme

Hi, I’m finding the vertical tabs on node/add/* or node/edit/* in the admin Seven theme is taking up so much space as a sidebar, and creates noise for my editors and users.

Just want a clean full-width form, preferably with all menu/url/settings to drop back down below the form, where it was in D7.

I installed the vertical_tabs_config module, but doesn’t solve it, vertical tab still there 😅

Seven theme is awesome, but do you perhaps know of another admin theme without the vertical tabs so that we can have a full-width editor?

Most appreciated 🌿

Drupal Clear Cache doesn't clear redis cache

we have a drupal website where the cache store is set to Redis using the redis module.

when we cleared the cache on drupal, it doesn't reflect the db size to be decreased so it doesn't remove any thing unlike the mysql db cache.

is there any specific redis configuration that should be done on the server level or in the drupal settings?
