Composer issue ( caused by ignorance on my part ) 

composer seems to install modules into modules/contrib   while the gui installer places them in modules.  at least that is how it appears to work based on my results. 

so i installed real_aes via the gui  and then installed it with composer require  (i realized after i had installed it via gui, that it had library dependencies thus the need for composer. so at the time, i thought it overwrote the data in modules/real_aes and did not realize it installed a new version of real_aes in modules/contrib  

Hi! It’s been a couple of weeks now, can’t get my mind around how to create a view tab on one specific node type.

In this case the view content type is ‘film’ and want to add a tab ‘course’ of content type ‘course’.

There is a field in ‘film’ populated with the referenced node ‘course’ I want to show.

On views, relationship ‘content referenced from field_reference’.

In the contextual filter is ID (Content)

(when view is not available) Content ID from url

(when view is available), content, node type ‘course’.

I want to display Field "field_summary" and "field_tags" of a node in html.html.twig (without using a module for that) as metatags. I was already able to get "field_summary" value in html.html.twig with this code:

I need to include in my site a birthday date field. The issue is that not all the content has a standard date (Year, Month and Day)... some field can have "Partial Dates" such as just the Year; Year and Month; Year, Month and a range of days; or a century.

This was done by the Partial Date module in version 7, but it is not currently updated to version 8.

I have a theme that is using a slideshow. On one slide I would like to incite the visitors to go under the slideshow, to the blog part...

How could I pointed to the "blog" part or to the block associated to a view "Derniers billets" (Last posts) that is situeted just under the the slide show!
