Unable to add content after installation

Hi all,

I just installed Drupal 8 alpha 11. The installation went fine, there were no errors reported.

However, after installation, if I click on any link, I get a 404 error :

The requested URL /testing/node/add was not found on this server.

(drupal is installed under the 'testing' directory.)

There is no admin directory either.

I also tried installing Drupal 7.27 and everything works fine. I am able to add content etc.

Any idea why Drupal 8 isnt working properly ?? Should I file a bug report ??

Thanks!
Ananth

Deleted Drupal

I delete Drupal. Reason I could only create a short cut to the root and sub directories. Drupal is a simple blog http://.blog.mydomain.com. The main site is http://www.mydomain.com. I CAN'T CREATE A SHORTCUT TO MY MAIN SITE LANDING PAGE.

The Drupal developer's for the web application realty thought out this process. I'm off to find me another blog app. Microsoft Web Platform Installer 4.6 has many blog apps to choose from.

Namespace for non-Drupal included class

I'd like to include an existing PHP class in my Drupal 8 module. The class will naturally have it's own namespace not conforming to the PSR-4 namespacing that Drupal expects.

If my class is namespaced Vendor/API/Client, where should it be included in my module in order to be loaded? It's not going to follow the module namespace rules because it won't include "Drupal" as the vendor.

Simple website in Drupal 8

I come from an ExpressionEngine/Pods background and I am wondering how to set up this simple example website.

Movie news/review site

Simple menu of "Homepage | News | Reviews".

Homepage should grab data from all my News/Reviews content and display them in a simple chronological list.

News page should list all news.

Reviews page should list all reviews, but each item should have a single/item page with data from the movie they are reviewing.
