The BEST Drupal job you'll ever have - fully remote opportunity

Hi there,

To be as anonymous as possible, I would rather not give away specifics of the work. If you are looking for the absolute best Drupal position you've ever heard of, are qualified as one of the best Drupal developers in the US, then please continue to read..

Looking for someone interested in doing a 3 month contract to hire with us.

*SOLVED* Drupal installed in subfolder, want url without subfolder

Drupal is installed in folder /drupal
I want the website to display on url http://domain.com and not http://domain.com/drupal

Is Drupal right for us?

I work at a not-for-profit and we are in the process of a web redesign discovery project. One of our biggest evaluations is a web CRM. We are working with an outside agency to assist in the evaluation and development. Please note that we are java shop. Our biggest struggle is... should we go with an enterprise JAVA CMS or is a custom built Drupal CMS the way to go? Anyone with java use Drupal? How easy is Drupal to maintain? Can we do it on our own once we learn the framework?

This is a major investment for us and we know we will need to live with the one we "marry".

Finding Drupal Work

I've heard that people who know Drupal are in high demand at the moment. Does anyone have tips on how I could find some part-time subcontracting work? For example, are there Drupal companies that are so overloaded with clients that they would want to outsource some of their site-building tasks?

My experience:

View that auto-refreshes nodes and their comments

Hi

I've been looking for a solution for this for a while now. But I can't find any modules that do what I am looking for. Maybe someone could give me a hint.

Drupal 7 Vs Drupal 8

I am wondering since I am fairly new to drupal but not to coding if I would be better of diving into D8 or I should stick with D7.

Will a lot of what I do in D7 be invalidated by D8 ?

I'm just trying to think long term and if I should just jump in the deep end with D8 or learn and then adapt for D8.
