I got the following exception:

I'm having the failed to get available update data problem with core, modules, and themes. Drupal 7 instructions were to empty the cache_update table based on forum and Google research.. There is no such table in Drupal 8. What course of action is required?

I have installed Drupal via Dircetamin to avoid installation errors
I have uploaded and activate the modules but I can not get past the massage You do not have any administrative items.

Is there a way to have a fully working version of Drupal by replacing the Drupal file with Erpal?

crashes all my js files in chrome with the message:
Refused to execute script from '*' because chrome MIME type ('text/x-js') is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled

All the javascript won't load anymore...

What am i doing wrog?

Working on Drupal 8-x RC2 : I've created and selected a sub theme fronm Bartik but no footer regions are defined and the content disappear. Cannot find solutions. Could you help?

Hi,
In my basic installation of Drupal8 the field format shows only a "generic file".
How can I see more specific formats? Like video file, or mp4 file. Is there such thing?
I saw a misleading video instruction on youtube by travis. It is three years old (drupal8).
The guy is showing that the format is minplayer. How can you achieve that?

Besides most modules that have anything in common with video are for drupal 7.
Is drupal 8 not ready for video files yet?
