Hi there,

In my D8 installation I get this type of file urls:

example.com/sites/default/files/actual_file.ext"

So I would like to get rid of the "sites/default" part. Is this possible?

Hi, Is Drupal 8 already contains components of Symfony 2.. I have this framework but it is not working..

I host with bluehost. I am having trouble installing Drupal 8. I basically am getting two errors; OPcache issue and mbstring issue. After I say to continue install I get through language and install profile then when I enter the database information and submit the form I get the white screen of death.

i am from Switzerland and i am new to Drupal .Firstly, sorry if my english is not very good.

I have a problem with drupal 8. I have installed drupa in local on my pc. I use Wamp.
Every time I clear the cache or install a new module, i have a white page with only : "Redirects to external URLs are not allowed by default, use \Drupal\Core\Routing\TrustedRedirectResponse for it. "

I dont know how to not have this message . Could someone help me step by step to do to not have this message ?

I included the special_menu_items module in D7 to allow empty links in menus (using the fake link)

Now, D8rc1 keeps the link mandatory, but special_menu_items seems not to be ported.

I need empty links to navigate to dropdown (child) menus.
