So, running Ubuntu with Mate GUI, have LAMP set up, seems to work fine, phpmyadmin works fine. localhost/ and localhost/phpmyadmin both can be found. Installed LAMP in command line.. I have installed drupal manually(command line, extracted archive) and with drush and neither could be found in chrome or mozilla. I have tried 7.x.x and 8.0.2 both. I tried using synaptic package mangement and copying its installation, that didn't help either. I've tried giving permission 777 (as well as just chmod ua+wr) to drupal directory and everything above it...that didn't help.
Is there a way to duplicate a node? My client often has multiple, very similar records to enter. The differences between records may only be a taxonomy term or something similar. The vast majority of the content for those similar records is the same. Their record entry would be much more efficient if they could duplicate an existing record, make the necessary changes, and save it as a new record. Is there a way to do this?
I'm using D8 core search. My client wants to have two search fields: one to search the entire site, the other to search only one content type. Is there a way to limit or restrict the search field to only one content type?
In the status report I see Twig C extension and Trusted Host Settings are both disabled. This is a local setup running 8.0.2 . Just wandering how do I enable them both please and thanks
