I have installed Drupal 8 on a testbed Web site so I had a version to play with as I familiarize myself with it.
I am being notified that there is a security update for it.
I logged into the site and looked at the security update. I was expecting to push a button and the updates would be installed.
The update notice said it was a manual update and that automatic updates aren't supported at this time.
It was my understanding that Drupal 8 being able to automatically update rather than have to FTP into the site and upload it was one of the key improvements.
Hi
I building my website with drupal 8 and my website is multilingual.
My question is are there way to prevent showing a node that not translated?
I mean i have a node for example node/1 it shown in localhost/node/1 and my default website language is English how can i prevent shown it in Italian Language in localhost/it/node/1.
Or non translated menu item don't shown on Italian Language.
This is my first week with Drupal and i'm facing some problems. When i try to upload a file i get an error message saying
The file php2B7C.tmp could not be saved. An unknown error has occurred.
File upload error. Could not move uploaded file.
I've poured through the forums here and all i keep seeing are permission issues. I'm on Windows Server 2012 / php 5.6.0 so to eliminate that i've added the everyone group and given full control on the whole drupal directory. I realize how bad this is but it's a test environment only.
Have added a template file to override a standard one in my sub theme. I have popped it in the 'templates' directory and it's named 'page.html.twig'. Have cleared cache but site hasn't updated. Any ideas why this may be? Am building locally if this makes a difference.
My ISP says this is not a common setting and is not willing to set it because it "conflicts with the setup". So how grave is this issue? Can I run production sites with this warning?
