Drupal 8.x

Hello everyone, 

I use Drupal 8.8.

In the admin/config/development/performance page of my website, I have 2 checkboxes :
- Aggregate CSS files
- Aggregate JavaScript files

Can you explain me these two features ? I noticed that when these checkboxes are not checked, my website is quicker.
Someone also advised me not to check them during development. Why ?

I also heard of AdvAgg module (https://www.drupal.org/project/advagg)
Is it really usefull ?

When i was using drupal 7 i've created a json api with some image and the output was like this:

"imagePlaya":{
"src":"http://localhost/drupal7/sites/default/files/as_dom.png",
"alt":"alt img",
"title":"title img"}

but in drupal 8 when i create a json rest api the image is like this:

"img": "/sites/default/files/as_dom.png"

How can i get title and alt like drupal 7?

Hi! I have a use case where I would like a view listing ‘content types’.

The reason is: the view will show the ‘content type’ and a title field, ‘if empty’, will show link ‘add content’ to the user.

The view has ‘author currently logged in’ contextual filter.

Most appreciate any ideas 🌿
