ZKungFu food chain with 600 franchise locations in over 43 cities and four online 3rd party food ordering sites needed to rebuild all of their software in house with help from Drupal.
I have 2 Drupal 6 sites and two Drupal 7 sites and I want to upgrde to Drupal 8
I did some tests with migrate core module of Drupal 8 and I was shocked on how many tables were in database after migration.....
I would say over 200.....and my hosts has a limit of 1000 tables per account
is there any other way to upgrade.....without being overinflated with extra tables?
I'm currently working on a module which need to check if the current user has permission to view the view. I have one view page with a specific path and I also defined permissions for a specific user role (authenticated). If I call the page as guest Drupal show "Permission deny" Message in the template how ever my module tell me I'm allowed to see the called view.
I am new to Drupal 8 and am not technical. I have a wordpress website which has around 2000 posts. I would like to migrate it to a Drupal 8 theme which I recently purchased. However, I am niot technically aware of the steps involved in the migration. I am using the latest version of Wordpress and I have a Drupal theme installed. It is a news website. I have Wordpress content lined up into categories. Could anyone please let me know the detailed steps involved in the migration? I hope and pray that these steps are not very technical in nature.
