I know this isn't the place - but not sure where is. (Group Operations)

Sorry about this but I'm not sure where to ask the question as I don't think it's anything to do with the specific module I installed.

Brand new to Drupal, and installed the Group module.

It defaulted to having group operations in the left side bar.  I wanted to move it to the right.

I should have simply moved it - but not knowing I could I deleted and added - but now when I'm on a group page - it doesn't show up at all.  I've tried every combination of configuration for it I can think of.

My ID is part of the group.

How to rebuild local action

Hi,

This is a copy/past of my question on overflow. Since I don't have any answer, I'm posting here ;)

I would like to add one action to a page (let's say the route entity.node.canonical) but this action would appear and disappear from the page time to time.

Public Page Visibility Settings, Newbie again

Newbie Again,

I have created a site, then a couple of additional basic pages.

http://www.arvlvs.network/

How can I make additional pages visible to the public?

It seems there should be a very simple way to do this?

Somehow I need to set node permissions?

Install a module that will allow me to do that?

I have not been able to find any way to accomplish this in the administration section or on the web.

Thanks.

Porting Drupal 7 module to Drupal 8

Hi,

I'm a student who was tasked with migrating a module of my choosing from Drupal 7 to 8, as long as it hasn't been migrated before.
I have very little experience with php.

I have found this article: https://www.drupal.org/docs/8/converting-drupal-7-modules-to-drupal-8 but with every module that I try to port following these steps, there's an error. I presume this has to do with API-failures but as I said I have no experience when it comes to this.
