Still learning about Drupal... :)

Let's say I create a new Content Type called ProductsContentType. Is it possible to add data/records to it by using a Web Service or are we forced to use web based admin control panels?

I'd like to publish my clients Products data to the web in bulk.

As a base, I would like a single page where 8-10 authenticated users could add updates.

Top window/frame/panel -- a textfield with two dropdowns to describe the type and status of their post.

Bottom window/frame/panel -- a list of recent updates, the status drop down ediatable/updateable, with author and time stamps

I've been doing loads of reading about Drupal and it's kind of clicking but I have a big question...

If I design a CCK and 6 months down the line there's loads of data stored in it but then I want to create a fundamental change and migrate the data from CCK1 to CCK2, is this possible and how?

Also, is it possible to setup a Web Service or something and feed CCK1 or CCK2 with data from an outside system?

I currently have a site cobbled together with wordpress and dadabik ( http://www.dadabik.org ). My main query is if there is a MODULE for Drupal that can query a database (mysql) and display the output for queries. At present dadabik does this on my site but I'm interested in finding out if such a module for drupal exists. I've searched the forums and module collection but unfortunately the search terms database or database module only bring up information on the drupal database.

as you mabe know the msn usergroups stops
now i want to use drupal for my group
can i change drupal so that one member send mail to all members with a file attachment?
then i mean from hotmail to hotmail.

so when one member send a mail with a attachment the whole groups gets this mail with attachment in theyre mailbox on hotmail or (whatever theyre registred with)

if this is possible i would be more then happy
