How to retrieve a single value of a field in Views 2?

I get the value of one of my fields in my page views-view-fields.tpl.php of Views 2

If I put:
<? php print $fields[ 'field_coloris_value'] -> content;?>

There will be the values 0, 1, 2, etc.. which will be shown by example and I show only the value 2.

Example:
- Red
- Green
- Blue

I have only "green" for example.

How does it do? Thank you in advance for your help!

Frontend-only - can Drupal do it?

Hello All,

We need to build a web frontend for a legacy system. The legacy system was recently added a web-service interface.

The thing is, all the data will continue to be on the legacy system. This tandem will work is follows:

I want to build a site containing the following.. Is Drupal a good idea?

Hi guys,

My first remark: Im pretty much a total noob at Internet, computers, servers, CMS, html, etc. All I know is that i build a site (not live yet) with Drupal. It is very easy, just used Garland style and all text is plain html.I just changed some colors, added some users, added text, changed menus and added some images and links. Before I started this I had never seen anything of html, php, css or whatever, so that's all I know! So please take that into account when replying :)

I am planning to build a new website and I'm trying to figure out which CMS I should use. Via Google I entered your site. I hope you will be able to help me! The site I want to build is for a pool. My site must be must contain the following possibilities:
- people need to login fo fill out their data and their predictions.
- afterwards, when they filled it out or login again, they should be able to login again to see (and ad some moments change) their predictions. Of course, when they login they should only see their own predictions, and not others'
- sub-leagues must be created, so people need to be able to create a subleague with a password, and they need to be able to enter subleagues other people created by filling out the name and password of the subleague
- furthermore, obivously, some pages must be created where there is some plain html

porting site - need 2 blogs for one author

Hi, I'm porting over a site to Drupal 6 and I need to have 2 blogs on the site. They have different content and audiences and one will actually be role-protected.

What's the best way to build two full blogs - with RSS, categories, archives etc?

I looked at the Blog module but it looks like I'd need to create two users for the main author and have him login to post for each...a little annoying...

What would you recommend? Any advice on building out these full blogs?

thanks for any advice

Working off-line

I am usin web enabled to host my drupal site until I get my own server up and running. Not knowing drupal that well is there a way for me to be working on improving my site while off-line. May be usefull when I am away from work but have some changes to make.

Multiple Sites, One User Datebase

Hi everyone,

I am trying to track down information about setting up a single user database across multiple sites. I have four Drupal sites running on a single VPS server and each has their own URL and database. The main thing I want to accomplish is setting up a single user database across all four sites so that a user only needs one account to add content across all four sites. Also, the sites are already running so ideally I would like to be able to do this without pulling everything down again and starting from scratch.
