I am new to drupal and I need some guidance how to start a site.

I want to create a site with adds where people can place their adds for free. Also an unauthenticated user should be able to place adds. The adds should be categorized by type, region and city. An add has text and some attached photos.

ok I am new to this lightbox2 stuff and I have used it before on my flash site http://oppositionuprising.com but I want to be able to load a youtube or vimeo video via lightbox2 from with in my flash website.. is there any documentation on how to easily set this up.. I have been searching all over the net and I am finding bits a pieces but if there is just a straight forward tutorial that would be really awesome.. Anyone have any ideas?

Can I create a website like this with Drupal?

It's a website for a transportation company. The website gives a quotation based on the chosen options.
Then you are redirected to paypal to make the payment.

The options are:

-Destination (3 destinations)
-VIP or Regular
-Type of vehicle (3 options)
-Round Trip/One Way Airport to Hotel/One Way Hotel to Airport

Is it posible to create this with Drupal/Ubercart? What modules would I need?

Will the development release of Drupal 7 be able to be updated to the release version once it is out or will that version always be stuck in the development tree?

Currently I use Drupal 6 for my organization and I planned to do an entire redesign with Drupal 7. I would like to start on that project now so that I can release the site when the release of Drupal 7 comes.
