Before you start

have already set-up the database and now it is at the Install Site screen and is just staying there blank not moving on to the next step. It just say Installing Drupal.

Hi,

I want to use Drupal to list products on my site.
That means I want to access product data in a different database table and show this data on product pages. Products should have categories and one should be able to write news articles about a product. Product lists should be available to the user and some filter options.

Does anyone have a good recommendation for existing modules that can manage such a thing?

I am totally new to Drupal, but so far I did not find an easy solution to this.

I am a fairly new user to Drupal and fell in love about 6 months ago. I am still learning every day and would like some guidance to provide a solution to my site. I have recently installed Drupal 6.15.

I would like to have businesses (registered user & business role) to be able to select and publish a discount. The discounts then need to be displayed in a page with with a primary link. The discounts will also have taxonomy vocabulary to sort by location and type of discount.

I am new to Drupal and wonder if Drupal does the following. Thanks for replying as it is crucial for selecting Drupal as the CMS.

1. Allow editor to edit and save any new content without publishing. Once saved, the approver will be notified and sent and email/add to dashboard to view the new changes and approved it. The Approver can also reject it and inform the editor..

2. Different editor can only view and change differnet part of the website eg. Editor A can make changes on Product A Pages only. Approver can view and change all content on the website.

Hi, we have a web server with about 5,000 web pages already, mostly research pages and the like. I would like to have Drupal serve as the content manager for our top level pages, but at the same time, I want to preserve the paths to the static pages already on the server. As an example, I'd like to keep www.mysite.com/research/ocean_waves.html, but have Drupal run at the root level of www.mysite.com. Is this possible? Any good strategies out there?
