I am building a mini job board for recruiters and job seekers. I have created two content types (profiles) for each role which I use during the registration. To build these two profiles, I have used Content Profile module, CCK, Views and autoassignrole module.

Could somebody please tell me if Drupal would be a better fit than Wordpress for the following task:
Case:a financial magazine that will cover at least 120 listed companies. Every company needs a page with a profile, financial data and latest articles. In the future we will add charts and stock quotes as well.
I have seen this wordpress site (http://etfdb.com/etf/EEM/) that does what we want. Somebody suggested using wordpress and cakephp for these profile pages.
I have downloaded all the code and database from live server of my client and i need to makde some changes in it i have configured site.but when i click on any menu it goes to WAMP5 root.
i've been up to my eyeballs getting a good grasp on html and css. i see why those are essential. as far as learning java, is there really a reason to do this, since it's client side scripting vs learning php, which is server side scripting? wouldn't it just be better to do everything server side? i'm putting up an educational website with videos/tests/forums/online store. i haven't delved too deeply into drupal yet, though i've got it all installed and running on my local host.
We already have 1 site up and running with Drupal, which we are really happy with (thank you Drupal community) and would like a very small microsite as a subdomain off the main site. What is the best way of doing this?
Could we have the pages redirected, it would want a seperate theme but could I just theme the pages as a seperate node type?
I would ideally like to keep all content together so would appreciate a heads up from someone in the know, or just some ideas, on how to get this going?
