Before you start

Hi every one,
i installed Drupal 6.18...the thinig is after i change my themes it gets changed(i can view it).But when i add menus, and other stufffs how i can view that.

I would like to know if there's a module that would give the ability to search for images within the edit post area in Drupal?

I need to create a Drupal site for a client with content based on location as seen here: http://www.examiner.com/anchorage (click "change city" button next to logo on top of the page). Anyone could tell me how to get started and what modules I should install? It would also be interesting to have an option to automatically detect the user's IP address to show content based on his location when he first visit the site.

I search on the forum already but didn't find answers to my questions.

Hi I have an upcoming project that I'm considering using drupal for.

The main section of the site will be a very large list of dentists (300+) with their basic information, location, specialty etc.

It sounds like this is something I may be able to do with CCK and Views? My concern is that my client will need to be able to update this list fairly easily when he needs to.

I got this idea for a new website (won't go into much detail).
The basic functionality I need to achieve is.

1. allow people sign up and submit a message.

2. allow other members to comment and 'like' the message.
(When they 'like' the message I want their name and avatar to appear below the message.)

Kinda like how logopond.com works, except without logos/pictures.
