Granuler access management

Hi,

I'd like to know if this is possible/viable with drupal 6 (stuck to it for now since civiCRM will be a necessity):

I need to have very good and easy control over access to the site.

Distinct parts will be

Multisite, multi commerce, single catalog

Hi,

From what I've seen multisite is possible, ecommerce per multisite looks possible, but is it possible to have one catalog used by all; and is there a way to make catalog items visible in individual stores only when they are selected by the store owner? The items shown in the store need to be limited to what was selected from the whole inventory.

Integration of a new self-built web application

All,

We are totally new to CMSes and considering Joomla & Drupal for our web site. However, we need some clarifications from experienced Drupal developers about how realistic our goal is:

Is Drupal suitable for this kind of site?

Hello, I just started reading Drupal (I have much experience with e-commerce sites) and I would like to describe a social site to you in case you could give me some tips, if and how it could be made with Drupal. This site is in Greek (http://www.fatsa.gr), so I try below to describe all it's features (sorry for the large post) so you can understand it's whole functionality.

Each user gets registered with the usual procedure (registration in activation link in email). The site is mainly a video/text chat site with many additional links/features which I describe below:

Each member, once logged in, can have access to a menu ("My own stuff") concerning his/her own resources in the site, like:

"My own stuff" menu: (side menu that appears in every page and has the following links)
- Incoming/stored messages from other members, sending messages to other members (title, body)
- emoticons storage space

Is it possible to make application withs forms and store datas in drupal ?

Hi,

i want to make a site for my association. On this site i want give access to association members.
Each members need to be able to manage some datas lists : likes hobbies, todo lists, and customs things.

So, in website i need to create some pages with forms, store datas in database and after i need to manipulate all this datas like i want. In form i need also to contribute some pictures.
I hesitate to use a php framework like Symfony or cms product like drupal.

Do you think Drupal is the best way to do this ? Is there a drupal module to help me ?

Can Drupal help me?

Hello all of you,

I have never used Drupal.
I would like to create a website with the following requirements.
The main goal is to create an interface to manage the order of a company.
Can you please tell me if Drupal can handle each of them and which module will be the more suitable?

1-> I want to have some users registered, with different rights

2-> An order is divided in different category (marketing part, technical, etc.)
