To Drupal or not to Drupal

Hi,

Fairly new user of Drupal but coming to terms with using it as a CMS system.

Onto more complicated matters;

I have a customer who requires a site that he'd like to work in the following way;

Site and drupal live at http://mydomain.com/

Each time a new customer signs up we create a new area such as http://mydomain.com/customer1 and http://mydomain.com/customer2 and so on.

Drupal for mutligaming site

I am currently running drupal for my website (codtoc.com) but am becoming less and less impressed with the functionality of the forums and social intergration portion. I am not one to complain about drupal because I loved it until two days ago when I noticed the functionality of Joomsocial and some of the other joomla addon's. The themes for joomla are also much more impressive than they are with drupal (at least to my knoweldge).

Is drupal the right CMS to be used for a forum/social heavy site like I am attempting to create.

Password protected categories in Drupal?

Hi there, I'm hoping someone here's run into this before --

I'm currently quoting a website for a potential client who is a wedding photographer. One of the features she wants is to be able to have private galleries, each password-protected.

People could then log in and be able to buy prints (cheque or PayPal ok). There would need to be product attributes (ie. picture sizes).

Restricted Content At Account/User Level

Hi,

Im considering using Drupal as a CMS for a customer project i need to get up and running. Ive researched alot into what it can do but havent really found a definative answer to see if it suits my needs. Any help appreciated!

Front End Requirements:
Only to allow front end users to login and be able to download PDFs documents which are specific to that user account only. Other users must not be able to view these documents or any reference to other users.

Ideally documents should able to be sorted by date as an archive will build up over time.

Is Drupal supporting...

I have no experience with Drupal now but I want to make kind of comunity web which will contain zone with only prepaid acces. It means only users who paid some fee can enter to this zone. They will have more information avaliable, some extra tutorials to download etc.. Is it possible?
And also do Drupal support some way how to manage prepaid users (connection to PayPal, SMS payment etc...). My idea to have for example monthly or weekly fee.
Thank you for answers.
