Before you start

I would like to create a website similar to Angie's List however I would prefer to do it in Drupal 7. What modules do you recommend? Can it be done in D7 or will I have to use D6?

I am going to develop two sites for a client in Drupal, and one of their requirements is to share one event calendar between the two site. They don't want to post events twice for each site, and they prefer to post the events from one place. These two sites are completely different with different content. Is there any way to pull calendar from one site and add it to the other? I was looking into multisite, but again the content is different. What is the best way to achieve this?
