I'm an absolute beginner with Drupal and this is my first post - so please be kind... ;-)
The newly released module DrupalRooms is quite interesting but I was wondering if there is the opportunity to connect a map module to the single objects. And what about commenting and rating? Can modules that offer these features just be hooked to other modules like DrupalRooms?
I am currently building a static website from just HTML, CSS, and Javascript that i know. I plan to have a blog page but I want the blog page to be controlled via Drupal so it will update and archive easily. I know i can use drupal for all pages of my website, but i want my homepage to remain static and I feel that if i use drupal for every page it will be hard to control that.
Is it possible to use drupal to control just a single subsection of my entire website?
Thank you for all who take the time to read and answer,
I want to build a component content management site with pay portal with a fairly large number of users. The main goal of the site is for document generation. So basically the user completes a form based and based on that form a document template is generated with different content choices for each component category. The user makes her choices, makes payment, generates document.
Looking for some advice on whether Drupal would be the best choice for a website that I have in mind.
The website is going to be based around reviews, focusing on the retail environment but with the possibility of reviewing different types of content in the future. I have gone over some documentation already and it seems like it would be a good fit. Other features that the website requires is a rating system that can be attached to the reviews that users create, and a ranking system of the top rated stores.
