To Do/Task module for Drupal

I am trying to install a simple to list list or task module similar to http://todoist.com/ on Drupal 7

BESIDES www.drupal.org/project/pm and http://drupal.org/project/mytinytodo

Nothing complex like basecamp, just a simple to do list where only a select group of users have access. Does Drupal have a simple solution for this?

Drupal: an e-commerce platform for selling pdf reports

Can I use Drupal to set up an e-commerce site for selling pdf reports?

Event manager Question

Hello,

I'm new to Drupal after trying Joomla first but it wouldn't meet up with my needs.

I'm creating a new website for our Vespa club and need an internal communication system to create, share and register events (being ride outs).

I've been looking through a lot of extentions but can't seem to find what I need. Maybe someone knows more (probably).

This is the plan for the site:

Home:
LeftSide: Intro text, Latest News Item, Next event RightSide: Menu, Login, Links
Club:
Leftside: Club history. RightSide: Menu, Login, Links
Members:
Leftside: List of all our members with photo and some details. RightSide: Menu, Login, Links
Events:
Leftside: List of Events. RightSide: Menu, Login, Links
Photo:
Leftside: Albums. RightSide: Menu, Login, Links
Media:
LeftSide: Download documents, Logo's, Flyers. RightSide: Menu, Login, Links
Contact:
LeftSide: Contact information and form. RightSide: Menu, Login, Links

The user Menu for Registered users should also have Create an Event and edit or delete it afterwards. He or she can create an event and send it to all other registered users. Other users can register to the event.

Brandnewby-learning, but need to know if I am on the right track

I am just starting to dig into and study Drupal, and so far I am really liking the platform. However, before I go whole-hog and commit a zillion hours to learn everything I will need to pull off what I want to do, I thought it might be a good idea to ask here on the forum if I can even do what I want to do WITH DRUPAL and whether or not there are modules out there that will help me along the way. I know that hiring a developer is an option if it is beyond my abilities, but I am never afraid of a challenge, so I would really like to learn and do it myself.

With that intro, here is what I would like to create.

A membership program that users can register for from our web page, OR be registered at our place of business. The members do NOT need access to the site, other than to check their "points."

I would like to print ID cards with the member's picture, their name, and with a barcode on the back that can be scanned with a handheld scanning device, or with a scan app on say, an ipod touch or ipad that is logged into the membership program.

When scanned by the member, member enters their password (computer kiosk) and they can view their points.

When scanned by an employee, we need to track time until the card is scanned again--so a start time, end time, amount of time, and running total time calculated. Points are credited based on time.

Build a social platform with drupal, is that possible? modules to get me started?

Hi, i want to create a social platform. What i basically need:
- users can register
- there are '2 levels of usres' so, one is for example employer, and another is employee.
- employee`s can be connected to employer. Employees can make friends, with other accounts in the system.
- employees can sent messages, post photo`s and reply on photo`s/ messages of others.

Can I do this in Drupal, and where should I start?

I am not an drupal expert, did build a few websites and modules, but I want to do this mostly to learn the more advanced stuff.

New development of a community site

Hi all,

I am toying with a project for the last few years. I want to develop a reference site, where one can track items, and contact the owner.

Say you have a stolen phone, you will be able to create an user ID, log your stolen phone's serial number. Another person will be able to reference the stolen phone in a pawn shop, and be able to inform the owner of the phone that his stolen phone is at this pawn shop.

First things first:
