I am currently looking for a new CMS solution for smaller websites. There is a (commecial) CMS in place that is widely accepted in the company. I have reviewed a lot on information on Drupal now but didn't find a good answer on the one feature that is really important and available in the original CMS:
I need to set up a site for members (users) where they would access few forms they can fill, and save, and retrive to edit. If you think I can achieve it with drupal please let me know, also which extensions I might be needing in case.
It will consist of same form, but with different data so the saved forms will need to be uniquely identified, and associated with that given user, and each user can view, and manage his own data.
example of form (the actual form will be much more detailed, and longer)
We are in the process of migrating from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9. We have a main website and some subsites. We are doing a phased approach, migrating the main site first and then the subsites. We plan to have the search functionality of the main website (to be in Drupal 9) still be able to index and provide search results from the content on the Drupal 7 sites.
I would like to create a website with multiples needs. It could be used to study the migratory flows of birds for example.
Mostly, I'm looking to create articles (or pages) like from a form with several fields and where several datas (from fields ) will be integrated in a map (leaflet or google maps...):
is there any support forum for Drupal Commerce or more specifically the shipping options? As I am trying to work them out and set the shipping as I want, but it seems a highly convoluted not to mention a complicated system! But possible I am just trying to work it out!
I'm looking for the best method to ensure that data entry is creating only Unique entries based on one or more key fields. I consider it normal in a relational database - but I do not yet fully understand the Drupal terminology. This is essential as the solution/site is meant to have multiple people maintaining content - not least external customers. I have spend a good week trying to find modules, documentation, other solutions... Any and all input on this is very welcome.
