I'm looking at Drupal vs Joomla vs Wordpress for a website, and I could use some input. (though I expect there may be some bias asking here :) I've dabbled in Joomla and Drupal about 6-7 years ago, but nothing since, so am out of the loop at the time.
Is there any way I can work on a test site that is actually populated with content, has a working taxonomy, blocks and ties between nodes (by ties I mean nodes that are connected by tags, categories etc).
I've got a job interview that requires inputting some content to a drupal CMS, but I'm imagining it'll be more than just typing in a blog post and publishing it. I set up a site at drupalgardens but I really need to work with something more established and I don't have the time to build a full site before the interview.
I want that after a guest\users click on some button my drupal site will create a user and will post with him some content.
is it possible with drupal to do something like that?
I'm very new to Drupal, and I need to create a website for a client. They want to use CMS for a few reasons. First of all the site will need to be translated into multiple languages. Second, they will need to update a few items, such as news articles.
For the most part, it is static site. I've played around with some of the internationalization modules, and it seems that Drupal handles the translations nicely. What I'm having trouble with is creating the site itself.
