Before you start

Hi,

I am relatively new to drupal and keen to leran more, I know of Drupal as our church uses it.

I have just been employed, the company I will work for have just taken on a large customer and after talking through a few things today it turns out that we will need a good CMS - Document management solution a bit like sharepoint.

Basically a place where we can keep the customers documents in an orderly fashion so that all the konsultants can have access to them.

What is described here is exactly what I am after:

I have built many sites with Drupal but not any e-commerce. I got an inquiry if I could implement a little special e-commerce site. I would be pleased to get some comments if this is not complicated with Drupal.

Hi there, I'm new to Drupal

I'm looking for a CMS to replace my current site that's built around a phpBB2 forum and since I prefer to use open source software, Drupal is a natural contender.

My site is based on paid memberships for the most part. Those with active memberships can view everything, download files, and participate in the forums. Guests can only view article intro paragraphs or articles that are set as 'public.'

Would you say Drupal is a good choice for a CMS that could do this?

Which modules would you use to accomplish this?

While I am fairly new to Drupal (one site under my belt), I have been building dynamically-driven web sites since 1996, so I am familiar with the various web tools and languages.

I am attempting to build an item exchange/trade site, whereby registered users can list items they have available to trade and/or sell (mainly trade). Simple, so far.

In addition to this, I would also like to add a section where registered users can rate and/or review these items (or similar types of items). There could be many individual reviews of the same item.
