Before you start

I plan to build a content-based e-commerce site.

I know bluehost is good, but I have to do all the configuration and maintenaince, upgrade of drupal by myself if hosed at Bluehost.

I don’t have experience of Cloud hosting, I heard that Cloud hosting is better.

Does the Acquia do all the works for me, such as the configuration, performance improvement, upgrade etc if hosted on Acquia?

Actually i am not satisfied with the cms of my website (CouponsRain) and looking for much improvrd cms services. what adjustment i have to make in order to convert my cms or will i loose some data or anything else. kindly reply back with possible solutions

which could be an idealarchitecture for a system that involves a social network area (Drupal Commons) and a "ecommerce area" (Drupal Commerce) (single database, some shared tables such as "users");
70,000 users per month (3,500 registered concurrent users per day) and 270,000 registered users in the 1st year.
Users can read, write, update content (Drupal Commons) and purchase products (Drupal Commerce).
I also will install some component such as "varnish" or "mamcached" to the problem of cache and "solar" to the full text search.

Hello fellow drupal users

I will soon take over the support part of my sportsclubs web page, that is based on drupal. Since the club don't have enough money to rent a professional to do it.

I do have some basic html, css and mysql knowledge, i used microsoft expression web to build small and easy web pages, with and without a connection to a database.

Now I need to learn drupal. I just wonder where to start, which place should I look to for basic help for beginners?

My nephews were mining Dogecoin at Christmas, it was kind of fun.

I am curious if I wanted to take Dogecoin or any coin as a payment for something on a Drupal site could you have the user make a node or even a comment with one of the fields their address, then compare that address field with one you receive in your wallet?

I still can't get the Dogecoin or Litecoin wallets to work, the crash every time. So I am not sure what they are like or how any of this works.

Just curious how it might work with Drupal without using a shopping cart or payment gateway.
