recommended modules for my website

Hi:

I want to create a website where users can register and then send articles that i will review and publish.

Articles show be able to appear in a directory, yahoo like structure of from menus.
Articles should appear in rankings as most viewed, top rated etc, newest.

Then I want to be able to send mails with the new articles to users.

Any advice on modules to do this?

Thanks in advance.

Can we link Drupal with Twiki?

Hi All,

We are in the process of implementing Twiki and we did see that Drupal has a lot of features which we would like to include in our Twiki Site. We would like to know if Drupal can be connected to Twiki Site? If yes, can you also let us know how it has to be done and the complexity of User Access?

We are eager to know more about this from experienced users.

Thanks in Advance

can anyone recommed UK based ISPs that fully support Drupal.

I'm having a few problems finding one that allows "LOCK TABLES".

Switching from PHP-Fusion

I currently manage a PHP-Fusion site that has over 2000 members, photo galleries, active forums, articles and loads of content. I'm interested in making the switch to Drupal, and am wondering how viable that is with a large database already formatted for PHP-Fusion.

Are there resources for this? Is it even possible to make the switch without losing all my content and/or member information?

Room Booking System

Hello I need to switch to a different site and drupal seems like the thing, only problem is currently we need some way to manage 100+ rooms for booking with conference's and such. It would be great to allow different level of premission with it also any help on this would be great. The site also needs to have a forum section and also a good customizable contact management system.

Drupal for non-profit organisation?

Hi,

I'm looking to install a content managment system for a new non-profit organisation (students for children) here in the Netherlands.

Since every Euro spent on IT is a Euro less spent on a child, we do not have a large budget for this, and so we cannot run our own server.

So I would like to ask:

1. Can drupal be installed without administrator rights? if not is there another OS CMS that can be?
